Your child should see visit the dentist for the first time 6 months after their first tooth comes through, or when they reach 12 months.

This allows us to carefully examine the development of their mouth and identify any problems early, such as baby bottle tooth decay, teething irritations and prolonged thumb-sucking.

Pain is always the strongest indicator that you have an issue with your teeth or mouth. We advise you to make an appointment as soon as possible so we can investigate and begin treatment. The earlier we can commence treatment, the less chance there is that it will develop to something extra painful (and expensive).

If you have missing or damaged teeth we have a range of restorative dentistry options that may help you.

We offer in-clinic treatment, and an at-home tooth whitening system with Philips Zoom.

We strongly advise against using any cheap at-home whitening products as they can erode your tooth enamel and result in irreversible damage.

If you are not in any pain, try and keep the tooth and make a dental appointment as soon as possible. In the meantime, avoid biting hard on that tooth.

If you are in pain contact us urgently for an emergency appointment on (03) 5443 5006
